When does the Pebble Hills Band start practicing in 2020?

 The Spartan Band starts summer band camp on July 13th. Color Guard will have their training camp - TBA. Percussion will have their technique camp - TBA.  There is a mandatory student/parent meeting the evening of Wednesday, July 10th for all members.

My child wants to be in Color Guard.  Does that make him/her part of the band?

Yes, the Color Guard is considered an important part of the Marching Band. The Band supports all aspects of the Pebble Hills Fine Arts Programs, although Marching Band is at the forefront during the Fall.

How many hours do marching band students practice during the school week?

 The Spartan Band is bound by the University Interscholastic League’s (UIL) 8-hour rule.

When do marching students do homework?

 Many students work on homework during their lunch period, and before and after school.  Several students are in advanced academics and help each other during tutoring sessions.

When does the Spartan Band perform?

 The Spartan Marching Band performs at every varsity football game and many local and regional competitions.

What is the Pebble Hills Band & Color Guard Boosters and how do they support the fine arts program?

 The Boosters are a parent organization that exists to support the Band and Color Guard, provide volunteers for various functions and other logistical needs, and raise funds to help offset some of the costs incurred by the Band and Color Guard.

When does the Pebble Hills Band & Color Guard Boosters hold their meetings?
